Chis is misserable

Hi all

Brad here (Chris's hubby), just to let you all know she is down in the dumps, cant see, in dark, wearing dark sunglasses, and trips over the cat more than usual....

Hopefully wont be long before she can see again, as I have no idea how this Oven thingy works and starting to get hungry...

pookhan -21st August 2003 17:41

hi brad - please let her know we are all thinking of her here and wishing her a speedy recovery!

C & M -21st August 2003 17:51

Get Well soon Christina
before Brad starves to death:D :D

His description of you reminded us that our favourite singer is Roy Orbison:cool: , look anything like that ?:D

Lesley -21st August 2003 19:17

Nice to meet the 'power behind the throne' Brad!

Please pass on my good wishes for a speedy and full recovery. Hope it's all been worthwhile.

Love to Chris

Lesley

This is your great moment Chris so enjoy it. Get Brad to do all the work. I'm a bit doubtful about the cooking though! :D Hope you are soon up and about (safely) again. :)

chriskb -21st August 2003 21:35

(Brad again)

Thanks all, passed your comments to Chris. She wishes she could see enough to post on here. Hopefully wont be long.

Local McDonalds know me better than my business partner now, as soon as I walk in they have it bagged and ready before I get to the counter.... get home and through the bag through the door at Chris, gota keep her energy levels up... :)

Bit mad here, 2 sicky moaning females (cat with broken leg, and wife with duff eye!) and trying to do some work...

elainew_au -22nd August 2003 03:31

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Chris :) :) :) :) :) :)

Really Brad - you should vary the fast food outlets!! A convalescing woman needs a balanced and varied diet you know!!! :p :p :p

pookhan -22nd August 2003 05:34

what, you mean sick and moaning females aren't perfectly charming??? nonsense! we're always delightful :D ;)  :) |z |l

C & M -22nd August 2003 09:05

Poor Brad - not only Chris to look after but a cat too!|ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha Never mind, Chris will soon bee back to normal again!

Sheila -22nd August 2003 20:54

Hiya Chris, hope you are feeling a tad better now. Make the most of being waited on and milk it as much as you can. I agree with Elaine, get him to try some of the other takeaway places. I am sure that too many Macdonalds must be bad for your health.

It might be fun to try doing a puzzle by touch and then seeing what the resulting picture looks like when your eyes get back to normal. Well it ws just a thought!!:)

Keep with us, even if it means getting himself to post your messages.

C & M -22nd August 2003 22:10

That sounds like fun SHEILA, doing a jigsaw by touch!! Keep in touch Brad and Chris!!|ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha |ha

chriskb -24th August 2003 13:38

Unfortunatley Chris was on her own for most of the weekend as I was admitted to hospital, I had an absess on the inside of my thigh and had to have it drained and cleaned under general, and finally discharged from hospital today, so between the cat with her broken leg, Chris with her wonky eye and me with a hole in my leg we are a right bunch.... and now I have been told I cant ride my bike for at least 2 weeks.... what joy..

Lesley -24th August 2003 18:09

Looks like McDonalds is out then! Unless they deliver where you are.........

Lesley

P.S. Sorry about the leg Brad. Poor you.

C & M -24th August 2003 19:07

Oh dear, you don't seem to be having much luck!|:qs :qs :qs :qs Get well soon everyone!!|ha |ha

pookhan -24th August 2003 19:33

maybe the family that ails together mends together - and more quickly. how awful for all of you!

Lesley -24th August 2003 22:06

They say things come in 3's. Let's hope that's your last problem for the forseeable (sorry Chris) future!

Lesley:)

Mike & Frances -25th August 2003 01:19

Just to add our Best Wishes to your household Brad & Christina:)

Very , Very Sorry to hear of your plight , but at least its giving some other poor sods a rest:D :D

Get Well Soon Brad & Christina ( and the Cat):)

Sheila -25th August 2003 23:00

Oh dear, what a setup for you. But no doubt you are cheering each other up with lots of tea and symphathy. Or do you have a contest as to who is feeling the worst. Just remember that things can only get better (I hope)
So keep smiling and be happy:D:D :D :D :D

Andy -27th August 2003 17:48
