HELENSS
Hello All.
While Brousing In A Book At The Library When I Was In To Use The Computers I Noticed This Poem And Thought You All Might Like It, I Know It Had Me In Stitches

Jigsaw

My Grandma Loves To Do Jigsaws,
She'll Do Them All The Day.
Until She's Finished The One She's On,
Nothing Gets In Her Way.

She'll Spread It On Her Table,
Sit With A Cup Of Tea
And Not Move 'til It's Completed
(or Until She Has To Pee)

The Jigsaws Are Of Anything:
A Barn Owl, A Red Setter,
A Book, A Hen, A Duck,a Pen,
The More Pieces The Better.

There's One Particular Jigsaw,
It's A Picture Of A Deer,
She Just Can't Seem To Finish It,
She's Been At It All Year.

It Was Christmas When She Started,
Slowly, Bit By Bit,
And Now Its Late September
And She Still Can't Finish It.

Every Day And Every Night
The Jigsaw Will Not End.
I Think It's Driving Grandma Mad,
She's Going Roung The Bend!

I Can Sometimes Hear Her In The Night
Cracking With The Strain.
She'll Throw The Jigsaw On The Floor,
Pick It Up And Start Again.

I Know Why She'll Never Finish It,
But She Won't Hear It From Me:
Two Pieces Were Sucked Up The Hoover
And The Dog's Eaten At Least Three!

I Hope You All Love It As Much As I Did, I Laughed Out Loud And It Was So Apt To Us As Jigsaw Puzzlers. Enjoy.

All My Very Best Wishes To You All
Happy Spooky Puzzling Tonight And Very Night.
Do The Jigsaw Jig, Be Happy.

Cute poem Helen. There's a joke I heard about jigsaws.

"My wife bought a jigsaw at the store and started working it. She would do a little everyday. I couldn't figure out what took her so long. Finally she was all done. I said why did it take you so long. She said "What do you mean? The box says 2 to 4 years!

Kinda corny!

Thankyou for the poem Helenss,it really made me chuckle!,and the joke too Straycat (although I had heard it before a long time ago) that made me laugh too.
Now that the long winter nights are upon us I am bad jigging with a vengence!! I have just finished a good 1000pc one "Romantic Roses"by an artist called Andrea Tilk. Haven't heard about them before but there are pictures on the back of the box of others in her collection so I will be looking out for those.
I am going into my loft later today to see if there is one I fancy re-doing as it is years since I did some of them! Christmas is coming so no doubt I will get a couple of new ones then.
Happy jigging to everyone and come on some of you new registered members! Get posting!!!
